GENTE DA MINHA TERRA (2015)
This photographic serie was accomplished in the village where I grew up.
It arises with my personal desire of showing that
even when in the midst of a fading out of these people's lives
there is still something that should be appreciated and praised: a beautiful innocence
blended with a great wisdom.
Those are the people who dearest to me;
Those are the people who always come into my mind when thinking about this place;
Those are the people who have seen me growing and, at the same time, I watched them getting old.
Some joyful and beautiful,
waggish and funny stories;
others not so much;
In the eyes of these people portraits
stories emerge like clear water.
